How to Zip (Compress) Files

Zipping files is helpful when you have a large file to send or if you have many files to send.  It helps make sure all files are sent and they will be sent in an organized folder to the recipient.  The following video shows how to zip a file, and what to do when you receive a zipped file.

Using the Snap Feature on Your Computer

The Snap feature on Windows 7 computers lets you easily look at two windows at the same time. This can be helpful when you have to get information from one screen and type it in another location. It can also be helpful when moving files from one folder to another.  I use it when I make the tech tip lessons.  I have a Powerpoint Presentation on half of my screen and show the tip I am demonstrating on the other half of the screen.
